Nkwanga Jonathan

Position: Pastoral Leader

Rev. Jonathan has played a critical role in providing care, education, and health services and supporting neglected, abused and vulnerable Children through Instilling faith among members that God can open doors for where there seems to be no way for their prosperity Incase they use their hands. Bewell Childcare strongly engages with issues of faith which is also clearly important given its role in the lives of most people globally; shaping values, beliefs, and behavior at the individual level as well as social norms and collective practices at the community level.

Jonathan is a moral authority leader in our communities that serve and generally have trusted relationships with the community members and, thus he is influential in changing beliefs, attitudes and practices that undermine child protection. Partnering with religious communities is not only possible but, in many cases, essential to addressing violence against children and promoting systems at community levels to enhance the protective environment for children.

In light of the above,Jonathan brings his vast experience to the board, as spiritually has been in the field for the last 10 years in active service and currently is serving at Archdeaconry Headquarters and this is due to the transparency and integrity in the ministry. He has supported the organization to rehabilitate the children through mindset change from that of failure and poverty, to that of a victor and a winner in life. Thus having a mind for greatness and positivity. He mentors and supports the families and communities to care for children holistically through the word of God, leading to the fear of God and creating a conducive environment of Christ – like beings through the Holy scriptures and as a result, building their character into great men and women of God. Impart skills and then Restore/Commission them into the world.
