As the Executive Director for Bewell Child Care Initiative, David Muhindo is committed to scaling efforts of helping needy families of last mile communities in providing them with a warm meal and a kind gesture during difficult times. With a background in project management and strategic planning, I oversee the leadership teams and day-to-day operations of our organization, ensuring that we are meeting our goals and making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
As a gender and poverty specialist, I have extensively been invited and involved in designing and facilitating community programs for youth, development workers and teachers to review poverty focused programs as one goal of the UN of sustainable development.
Prior to establishing Bewell Child Care Initiative, I spent several years teaching and community service and hospitality, where I developed a passion for community service and helping others. I have also worked in corporate environments, where I honed my skills in start-ups, organization, communication, and leadership helping schools to assess their capacities and undertake activities to respond to the needs through human resources policies, developing interpersonal life skills, policy formulation and implementation as another UN sustainable development goal.
At Bewell Child Care Initiative, I am proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. Whether it’s coordinating volunteer efforts, developing systems, or managing our partnerships with local organizations, companies and school networks, I am committed to ensuring that our organization runs smoothly and effectively.
